Here is a brief biography of Hazrat Muhammad:

1. Birth and Early Life: Muhammad was born in the year 570 CE into the Hashim clan of the influential Quraysh tribe in Mecca. His father, Abdullah, died before he was born, and his mother, Amina, passed away when he was only six years old. He was raised by his grandfather, Abdul Muttalib, and later by his uncle, Abu Talib.

2. Marriage and Family: Muhammad married Khadijah, a wealthy widow when he was 25 years old. They had four daughters and two sons, though both sons died in infancy.

3. Prophethood: At the age of 40, Muhammad received his first revelation from the angel Gabriel in a cave on Mount Hira near Mecca. These revelations, which continued over the course of 23 years, were later compiled into the Quran, the holy book of Islam.

4. Preaching and Persecution: Muhammad’s message of monotheism and social justice challenged the polytheistic beliefs and practices of the Quraysh tribe, who controlled Mecca. He faced significant persecution, and his followers, known as the early Muslims or Sahaba, were often subjected to harsh treatment.

5. Migration to Medina: In 622 CE, due to increasing persecution, Muhammad and his followers migrated to the city of Yathrib, which later became known as Medina (meaning “the city of the Prophet”). This event, known as the Hijra, marks the beginning of the Islamic lunar calendar.

6. Leadership and Unification: In Medina, Muhammad served as a religious, political, and military leader, and he played a crucial role in uniting the various tribes and communities of the city. He established a legal and social framework that continues to influence Islamic law and governance to this day.

7. Conquests and Expansion: Under Muhammad’s leadership, the Islamic community expanded rapidly, initially through defensive battles and later through a series of military campaigns. These conquests contributed to the spread of Islam across the Arabian Peninsula.

8. Farewell Pilgrimage and Death: In his last years, Muhammad returned to Mecca in a peaceful pilgrimage known as the Farewell Pilgrimage. He delivered his famous Farewell Sermon during this event. Muhammad died in 632 CE at the age of 63 in Medina.

Hazrat Muhammad’s teachings and actions as recorded in the Quran and Hadith (his sayings and actions) form the foundation of Islamic faith and practice. He is highly revered by Muslims as the “Seal of the Prophets” and is regarded as an exemplary figure for his character, piety, and dedication to the monotheistic worship of Allah. His life and teachings have had a profound and lasting impact on the world, shaping the beliefs and practices of over a billion Muslims worldwide.
